Hitman Holmes outfoxes Aaron

A CLASSY performance from Terry Holmes saw him register the fourth-straight victory of his pro career at Liquid nightclub in Luton on Sunday afternoon, writes Mark Wood at ringside.

The 19-year-old Stevenage fighter dominated this four round light middleweight contest from start to finish and bullied his opponent Aaron Fox in every round until the referee finally stopped it midway through the fourth.

Fox in the white and black trunks and weighing 11st 2lb from Trowbridge, was on the back foot right from the very start.

Stevenage starlet Holmes, in the blue and white shorts and tipping the scales 10st 10lb , was in a completely different league to his opponent.

Holmes landed punches at will almost throughout the fight with Fox barely throwing a shot.

His jab was laser sharp and sickening blows flowed from both fists.

After one-way traffic in the first two rounds the referee had a word with Fox and his corner, and he seemed fleetingly rejuvenated for a time in the third.

But it was merely a stay of execution as the House of Champions fighter continued to bully him and the referee rightly stepped in after 1.45mins of the last round to spare Fox any more punishment.
