Manny’s bout falls through

Jackson left without a fight too

Luton boxer Emmanuel Oshinronde has had his second professional fight cancelled, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 29-year-old Lutonian was due to face Plymouth light middleweight Angelo Crowe at the Riveria International Conference Centre in Torquay at the weekend, but due to a problem with weights, it has been called off.

Fellow Luton boxer Ian Jackson has also seen his fight against Carl Drake on the same bill abandoned.

This is due to a 28-day suspension incurred after being stopped on his debut by Adam Etches during their bout at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, last weekend.
