Mustafa has his pro debut put on hold

Luton boxer Mohammed Mustafa has seen his professional debut put back to October after his York Hall bout against Jimmy White was postponed this week.

The 22-year-old, has an impressive amateur record having won 21 of his 26 bouts, including several victories against British and South East champions alongside a strong run in the ABA Home Counties.

“I don’t just want to be a British champion, obviously that’s target but now I’m training to be a world champion.”

Mustafa had certainly been putting in the hours training, as the fighter wakes up to train at 3am before going to work at Luton Airport, only to return home and train again at 1pm.
