The unbeaten 31-year-old is back in the ring for his first bout since March and will face Slovakian Csaba Bolcskei over six rounds.

Prosper’s opponent has won four, lost two and drawn one of his seven pro fights, as on the bout, Prosper said: “They’ve put me up against a Slovakian fighter and he’s not a journeyman, he’s coming here to win.”

Although he hasn’t fought since defeating Mark McKray six months ago, to make it five wins from five, Prosper believes he is in perfect condition thanks to a sponsorship deal from Luton company I-Tap Electrical Services.

He continued: “I’ve been able to train three times a day, so their support has really helped me to get in shape.

“I’ve stayed in the gym and been doing some really good sparring with Ricky Burns and Kevin Mitchell, so that’s kept me in top shape.

“I haven’t fought, but I’ve really pushed myself and am ready to go.”

Prosper is also hoping to keep busy for the rest of the year after what he intends to be victory number six at the weekend.

He added: “I’m going to hopefully be on the next Goodwin show in October or November and am aiming to have another two fights this year.

“Then I can climb the rankings and start getting some title fights.

“I want to get some big names like Ricky Boylan too as they are people I think I can beat.”
