The Lutonian was up against an experienced 37-year-old opponent who had 22 wins and 16 defeats from a lengthy career in which he had gone the stance with both Gary Sykes and Tamuka Mucha.

In the first round, Prosper worked his jab well, holding Anywanu at bay as he looked to advance on his unbeaten opponent, with the former Hockwell Ring ABC fighter needing to show some solid defence.

Prosper began to launch some slick counter moves in round two though, despite often finding his space cut down by the durable Anywanu.

However, despite the good test, with Prosper being taken the distance for just the fourth time in his career, he was given the win 40-37 on the judges scorecards.
