Reynolds dominated throughout the four rounder and showed an impressive array of defensive skills.

Charlton tried in vain but could hardly hit his opponent as he moved in and out of range.

Reynolds made Charlton pay every time he missed the target, with some lightning quick combinations.

It had looked at times like Charlton’s corner were about to throw in the towel, but he bravely battled on to complete the fight.

After the victory, Reynolds won the award of ‘Best Away Boxer’ in a very impressive overall display.

The triumph was perfect preparation for Reynolds’ defence of his National Championships title, now known as the Ambition County Championships, he won in 2012.

The event starts on October 12.
