Shamrock Boxing Club aim for lucky year

BOXING: Shamrock Gym’s burgeoning young talents are set to get into action in the near future, writes Mark Wood.

Both Duane Grimes and Gavin James should make their pro debuts this year while Marco Stephenson is also in line for his third pro outing.

Light heavyweight Stephenson, 27, who bounced back from a first round defeat on his debut to beat Matt Jack in June, is due to face Phil Goodwin in Hull on Saturday, October 30.
