Shamrock’s Turner planning another Beds show

Luton-based boxing promoter Mervyn Turner, head of Shamrock Boxing Promotions, got the season off to a flying start with an excellent card of boxing in Norwich on Saturday.

Turner answered the SOS from the Walsh brothers for a ‘Home Show’ in Norwich and also added a host of local talent.

The top of the bill championship clash between Michael Walsh and George Gachachiladze saw Walsh emerge victorious.

This success follows on from an excellent show in Bedford and Shamrock Boxing hopes to be back with another bill of Bedfordshire boxers in November.
