Success for both Reynolds and Hashmi

YOUNG Graham Earl boxer Jordan Reynolds claimed victory in the first round of the NACYPs at Hoddesdon on Saturday.

The 16-year-old Lutonian won a unanimous points decision against Kevin McDonagh from Cheshunt ABC and he progresses into the next round in two weeks’ time which will take place in the Midlands area.

Meanwhile, after 16 months out Danny Hashmi won on his return to the ring on Friday night.

The 13-year-old suffered a hand injury and had been unable to fight for over a year, but won a majority verdict against Dave McDonagh of Brompton ABC. Hashmi, of Nunnery Lane, Luton, is trained by Graham Earl and fights for Stevenage ABC.
