Tyson and Hughie Fury the star attractions in Luton

Rising heavyweight sensation Hughie Fury and cousin Tyson will be the star attractions when Shamrock Boxing Promotions brings boxing back to Luton with a bang on Friday, December 6, writes Mark Wood.

Hughie tops the bill, alongside Luton boxer Marco Stephenson and Shamrock fighters Matt Legg and Billy Bird at the Professional Boxing Dinner at Venue 360.

Former Irish, British and Commonwealth champion Tyson, who trained at the Shamrock Gym in Luton for his successful British and Commonwealth title fight, will be the guest of honour.

He said: “I am really pleased to be coming back to Luton. I had a lot of support when I was last there.

“Luton is a real fight town and I know I had a lot of support from there when I won the Irish title.

“I am really looking forward to meeting all the great people again and also to letting them see Hughie, who is a real talent, fight in the town.”

Luton light heavyweight Stephenson is boxing in his home town for the first time and will be looking for the fourth win of his career.

The evening will include a four-course dinner, photo opportunities, charity memorabilia auction to raise funds for Shamrock Boxing Club and the RMTFGB Children’s Hospital, Q&A with Team Fury, plus more.
