Udofia forced to call off York Hall bout
Luton boxer Linus Udofia has been forced to cancel his second professional bout against Gabor Balogh at York Hall due to an ear injury.
The 22-year-old, who was due to fight on May 7, tweeted: “I regret to inform you that my 2nd professional fight on may 7th has been cancelled due to a perforated left eardrum.
“I’m still in the gym working hard right now, I will hopefully be back in action on July 16. Thankyou all for the continued support.”
Udofia, who learnt his trade with Hockwell Ring ABC, won his pro debut last month by beating Sonny Whiting on points at York Hall.
