Bushmead dominate Schools Championships

The Luton Junior Schools Cross-Country Championships took place at Lewsey Park last week.

The races for Year 5 and 6 boys and girls were organised by the Luton School Games team assisted by students from Icknield High school.

Teams from 17 schools took part with Bushmead and Hillborough again dominant as Bushmead won two team awards and Hillborough enjoyed two seconds and a third place.

Individual honours went to Morgan Allen, Year 5 (Hillborough), Nathan Basterfield, Year 5 (Warden Hill), Hannah Foster, Year 6 (Sundon Park), and Antonio Khan, Year 6 (Hillborough), who all had convincing victories.
