Caddington youngster Mead meets Ian Poulter
CADDINGTON golfer Matthew Mead competed in the seventh Ian Poulter Invitational last week.
The 16-year-old, who plays off a handicap of four at Caddington Golf Club, was among 100 rising junior stars from across the UK to take part in the event at the Marquess Course at Woburn Golf Club.
Mead managed a nett score of 94 and a gross of 98, while he also received one-on-one coaching time with Poulter as well as tips and practical advice.
