Hide AdGeorge Kaye claimed another deserved win with a huge haul of 115lb 3oz.
Tony Kaye was runner-up with 60lb 15oz, Andy Waterhouse was third with 46lb 10oz and Paul Caton fourth with 34lb 11oz.
A total of 13 fished with other weights ranging from 32lb 13oz downwards, with the final total weigh-in for the day over 400lb.
The previous weekend, Caton triumphed in the prestigious Hospital Cup, fished on the club’s waters at the Great Ouse at Kempston, with 23lb of mostly dace.

Hide AdThere have been reports of big barbel showing in the river at Radwell and Sharnbrook, with fish between 10lb and 15lb being taken. Sharnbrook Pits, meanwhile, have been producing carp over the 20lb mark.
