Dunstable Town CC hold 20th anniversary

Hemel Hempstead claimed the Lancot Park 20th Anniversary Trophy as Dunstable Town CC celebrated 20 years at their current home on Monday.

The competition was part of an Anniversary Day event held by the club on Bank Holiday Monday to celebrate the 20th year of their move from Bull Pond Lane to Lancot Park.

The day consisted of a Colts match between two Dunstable sides followed by the Twenty20 semi-finals of the 20th Anniversary Trophy.

The competition featured two mixed Dunstable teams, one from Hemel Hempstead and a Stuart Harvey XI, which included Dunstable’s Sam Marshall and Matt Custance.

During the day there was a champagne brunch, BBQ and a bar with happy hour at 1993 prices.

Meanwhile, President Brian Chapman presented groundsman Graham Hill with a Long Service Award.
