The defeat leaves Hawks in the relegation zone with three games left.

Haiderys will be hoping Majestics lose against AKCC on Thursday as this will confirm them as champions.

Majestics saw their match with AKCC called off due to rain.

Although the title has gone, Luton Pakistanis produced a stunning performance against bottom club Kingsway CC to keep in touch with second-placed Majestics.

Pakistanis batted first and, with Mohammed Haroon’s 23 giving them a decent start, they found it hard in the middle overs as Danial Ilyas (2-25) and Aftab Ali (3-17) kept things tight.

But it was left to some brutal hitting from Jilani Kabir (31 not out) and Irfan-Ul-Haq (16 not out) to push their side to 139-6.

Kingsway, who could have climbed out of the relegation zone with a win, did not get going as Tasir Hussain and Irfan-Ul-Haq claimed two wickets each to leave them on 94-8, despite Tabraiz Khan hitting 27.

Awais Fareed smashed 79 as Luton CC, 147-6, moved into second place in Division One by overcoming Luton Cricketers, 124-7.
