Harlington secured promotion to Morrants Four Counties League Division Two with an emphatic 76-run win over local rivals Milton Bryan at the weekend.
Harlington’s victory charge was led by Mark Caldwell who made an unbeaten 100, in his side’s total of 215-4.
Milton Bryan never looked like chasing down the target as their only resistance came from Carl Rath (68).
The visitors were eventually bowled out for 139, with Mark Price (4-38) and Dan Read (3-22) the main wicket-takers.
With three games to go, Harlington will now be hoping to lift the title.
Offley & Stopsley moved up to second in the Saracens Herts League Division Nine A with a fine fielding display against West Herts.
Bowling first, Steve Denton (4-31) and Richie Barker (2-25) took early wickets as West Herts never recovered from 25-5 eventually dismissed for 89.
Offley’s fielding was sublime as every catch that went their way was taken, the highlight being a steepling effort held by Steve Bexfield running in from the boundary.
Offley chased down the runs with inspirational captain Luke Munt leading them home with over 30 overs to spare at 95-3.
On Sunday Offley took a young side to Queens Park Westfield in their Beds County League Division Four encounter.
Despite a heavy loss Offley fought hard, as Kieran St John and 14-year-old Courtney Mcilveen were the pick of the bowlers in Queens Park’s tally of 258-9.
Offley reached 133 in their 40 overs with a stylish 20 from young opener Boz Thomson.

Pirton got off to a fine start in response, with Tom Laskowski and Jake Howard putting on 70 until Laskowski fell for 32.
Howard was cruelly dismissed two short of his century as Pirton started to crumble, falling from 181-3 to 218 all out, with only Andrew 21 and David Newman (19no) providing any resistance.
