LT & Indians win four promotions

Luton Town & Indians were promoted to the Saracens Herts League Division One for the first time since 2007 after they beat St Margaretsbury by two wickets on Saturday.

The club have enjoyed a superb season, becoming the only the fifth club to see all four teams winning promotion in their respective leagues

Town recovered from 43-6 to reach 161 all out as Tahir Murtaza took 5-34 and Aravind Varma claimed 3-41.

Town collapsed from 98-2 to 121-7, but battled back to reach 166-8 as Mohammed Haroon (46), Jeremy Page (33), Dave Gould (29) and Aravind Varma (23 not out) all contributed.
