Luton Pakistanis lose out to their Northamptonshire kin

NORTHAMPTON Pakistanis defeated Luton Pakistanis to lift the 26th Jinnah Trophy on Wednesday.

Named after the founder of Pakistan, Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the annual event is played to celebrate the independence of Pakistan.

Games took place at the Luton Regional Sports Centre, Icknield Way and Wardown Park.

Luton United Stars, Luton Pakistanis, Waqar XI, Luton Spitfires, Bedford Pakistanis, Falcons CC, Friends XI, Luton Hawks, Luton Lions, Southampton Pakistanis, Luton Saracens, Luton Haiderys, 69’ers, Luton Majestic, Northampton Pakistanis, Dallow Chargers, Kashmir Cavaliers, Azad Kashmir CC, Milton Keynes Stars and Lewsey All Stars were all in action in the eight-over matches, with each bowler being allowed two overs.
