Luton Sixth Form College are heading to Edgbaston

Luton Sixth Form College have been crowned regional indoor cricket champions for the second year in a row.

The men’s team won the British Colleges Sport (BCS) East Indoor 24 tournament at Milton Keynes College earlier this month.

They now go on to represent the Eastern Region at the National Finals to be held on May 1 at the Edgbaston Cricket Centre, the Test venue complex in Birmingham.

Luton will be hoping to go one better than they did in 2013 at Lord’s – when they finished runners-up with a net run rate agonisingly 0.05 lower than NEW College Pontefract.
