Panesar stars as Luton Town & Indians defeat Ampthill
Former England spinner Monty Panesar took his first five wicket haul for Luton Town and Indians on Saturday to help extend their lead at the top of the Saracens Herts League Division One.
Hosts Ampthill Town could not live with Panesar who finished with figures of 5-31 as they were bowled out for just 108.
It was a target Luton achieved comfortably, getting there in just over 17 overs for an eight wicket win which opens up a 54 point lead at the top of the division.
