Luton Hawks recorded a crucial win as they restricted Luton CC to 106-8 with Sajid picking up three wickets.

Shaheen CC edged closer to promotion as they hit 84-1 to easily beat AKCC (82-8) as Choudary Kamran finished unbeaten on 43.

Luton Eagles posted 111-6 to beat second-placed Luton Saracens by 17 runs, who fell short on 94-9 thanks to an impressive spell by Abdul Raheem (4-17).

Eagles have one game in hand over Saracens and a win will put them level on points heading to the final game of the season.

Haidery Tigers stunned Kingsway with a five-wicket win.

Kingsway had hammered 150-5 with Gurdeep Jandu (36), Sanjay Chandarana (40) and Omraiz Khan (36) helping their team to the massive total.

However, Tigers chased the target down as Ehtisham’s special knock of 54 not out and Talat Malik’s quickfire 15 helped them triumph on 151-5.

In Division Two, Kashmir Cavaliers edged closer to promotion as they hit 111-3 to beat Challney CC (110-8) by seven wickets.

Kamran Bashir was again impressive with 2-18 and he then led Cavaliers’ charge with an unbeaten 58 to see his team to a vital victory.

Accident Specialists were skittled out for 93, Naeem Aslam top-scoring with 19, but they bowled well to restrict Cornered Tigers to 67-8 and win by 26 runs.

Specialists have one game in hand and a win will take their hopes to the last day where a Cavaliers loss would see them finish second.
