Cycling round-up: Icknield Road Club enjoy success
Two Icknield Road Club riders competed in Verulam CC’s 51st Open 25-mile time-trial held on the Great North Road between Tempsford and Buckden.
Peter Harridge clocked 58.10mins and Senior Veteran Colin Holmes finished in a time of 1.05.55hrs.
The club’s Tuesday Evening League, on either the High Berry 4.1-mile circuit or out and home 10-mile course, has been well supported this year so far and continues until the last Tuesday in August.
All are welcome with riders meeting at in the clubroom at Redborne School in Ampthill at 7pm on Tuesdays.
