Dees edged out by Long Buckby
Dunstablians were edged out 6-5 in an extremely close Midlands Three East South clash at Long Buckby on Saturday.
The visitors had the lead after half an hour when Scott Warren set up Mattie Anderston to go over but after Kevin Boland missed the conversion, they failed to trouble the scorers again.
The hosts reduced the deficit to 5-3 with Andrew Frankland’s penalty moments before half time.
In an even second period, Frankland’s penalty on 52 minutes was enough for Buckby to triumph.
Dees host Northampton BBOB this weekend.
