BBOB pulled a try back to trail 14-5, but Dunstablians were soon in the ascendancy once more as Zach Bourne crossed and then Boland’s penalty ensured his side led 22-5 at the break.

In the second period, Stuart Hall went over, while BBOB tried to remain in contention with a try of their own to reduce the deficit to 27-10.

But Dees kept attacking as Mattie Anderson and Aaron White both crossed, with Boland adding one conversion, while they were followed by Ray Carry as Dees led 44-10.

BBOB managed a converted score of their own, but Anderson was soon over the line with Boland converting for a 51-17 win.

Dees visit Bedford Swifts in the cup this weekend.
