Defeats for all three of our rugby sides

LUTON Rugby went down to a 30-7 National Three London & South East home defeat against Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday.

Luton, who are second bottom in the table, could only manage a try by Codie Medway that was converted by Aidan Kenny.

Dunstablians lost 32-17 at Midlands Two East South leaders Peterborough Lions on Saturday.

Jack Newton scored two tries, while Kevin Boland added one and Danny Mills kicked a conversion.

Stockwood Park were beaten 23-18 at home by Huntingdon in Midlands Two East South at the weekend.

Park had led 18-0 as Alex Lovell, Cassey Waterfield went over, while Jason Carr kicked two penalties and a conversion.

But the visitors hit back with 23 unanswered points to claim the victory.
