DIVING: Gold and silver for Biggs and Kerr

Luton Diving Club hosted the 27th Luton Challenge at the 10m facility in Inspire:Luton Sports Village recently.

The meet is the longest running, annual, inter-club diving event and had its biggest attendance to date, with over 150 divers from 17 National Diving Clubs competing.

There were also entries from Francesca Del Celo and Shanice Lobb (Plymouth Diving Club) who dived at the World Junior Diving Championships this year, plus Matthew Dixon (Plymouth Diving Club) who dived for the GB team at the Commonwealth Games and won gold on platform at the British Championships.

Luton Diving Club (LDC) had some great successes in this home event as Henry Biggs won gold for the first time in the Men’s platform category.

Meanwhile, Katherine Kerr claimed silver in the Girls C 3m category as the duo’s results makes a total 19 golds won by LDC at National, Regional and Invitational diving events this year.
