Every year it attracts international divers, members of past and current Olympic teams and the country’s top junior divers.

The star attraction will be Jack Laugher, following his two golds and a silver at last year’s Commonwealth Games. James also won gold at the 2015 FINA Diving World Series and bronze at the Kazan World Championships.

Another confirmed big name is 2012 Olympian Chris Mears who was a gold medallist at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and picked up two bronzes at the Kazan World Championships. Jamaica’s Yona Knight, who has a large local following, will also be competing this year.

Helen Barnett, Chief Executive at Active Luton, said: “We are delighted to be hosting what is going to be another fantastic weekend of top quality competition.
