Dramatic win in the pool for Ashton
ASHTON St Peters Middle School enjoyed a dramatic victory in the inter-school swimming gala organised by Dunstable Swimming Club at Dunstable Leisure Centre last week.
Ashton, the comfortable winners of both rounds of last year’s gala, were pushed to the wire by a rejuvenated Streetfield Middle School team in the first of this year’s heats.
Both Caddington Village and Priory Middle School showed early promise with strong individual performances from both girls and boys in the Year 5 and Year 6 freestyle events.
