Dunstable Croquet Club hold annual club competition
Twenty-eight members of Dunstable Croquet Club played their annual club competition at Priory Gardens on Saturday, July 13.
Teams of two were divided into two groups as everyone in the groups played each other on a round robin basis, with the team with the highest number of hoops in each group going through to the final.
Peter Wade-Wright and Val Heley faced John Wright and Janet Terry in a best of 12 hoops final.
In a tense final both teams led as Wade-Wright and Heley won 7-5.
Mayor John Chatterley presented winners and runners-up with their trophies.
