The event was held at Queens Leisure Centre in Derby and hosted by the Etwall Eagles Swimming Club as DSC were up against Rykneld, Braunstone B, Etwall Eagles and Dronfield Dolphins.

The club picked up two first places, 13 seconds and 10 thirds which meant Dunstable finished 11th in the league overall.

DSC also celebrated some excellent new PBs, while swimmers of the gala went to Ellie King and Lauren Simpkins as head coach Tim Hutton said: “DSC swimmers did the town proud on Saturday with some outstanding swims with several members out with illness.

“I look forward to us building on this season’s performance next year with more victories.

“The club is going from strength to strength and with the club using Houghton Regis Leisure Centre and Dunstable Leisure Centre from the new year the possibilities are endless.”
