Dunstablians defeated despite dominating
Despite dominating their Midlands Two East South clash at Oadby Wyggestonians, Dunstablians fell to a 27-16 defeat on Saturday.
The hosts started well, with unconverted try after just two minutes, following a catch and drive.
Dees responded strongly as fly-half Peter Thompson kicked a drop goal and then added a penalty to put his side 6-5 in front.

Hide AdA soft try saw Oadby back in front by the break, but in the second period, Dees regained the initiative as Alex Ayres bundled over and Thompson’s boot made it 13-10.
Oadby stepped up a gear though as a penalty levelled the scores, before they managed to converted tries to seal victory.
This Saturday Dees host Olney.
