A soft try saw Oadby back in front by the break, but in the second period, Dees regained the initiative as Alex Ayres bundled over and Thompson’s boot made it 13-10.

Oadby stepped up a gear though as a penalty levelled the scores, before they managed to converted tries to seal victory.

This Saturday Dees host Olney.
