AFC Dunstable gearing up for new season

With their first season in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division just four weeks away, AFC Dunstable have lined up five friendlies in preparation.

They kick off on Saturday when AFC travel to Amersham Town and they then visit Southern League outfit Leighton Town at Bells Close the following Saturday.

A midweek game at London Colney on July 26 is followed with a trip to AFC Kempston Rovers, who ply their trade in the UCL on Saturday, July 30.

Their pre-season comes to a close with a visit to Reading Town on August 6, before the league begins on August 13.

Manager Alex Butler said: “It’s an exciting time for the club after promotion last season and we have set up some tough friendlies and pre-season training has seen over 40 players attending.”
