AFC Dunstable named team of the month

Eight wins and a draw is enough for the prize

AFC Dunstable won the Molten Spartan SML Division One team of the month award for September.

During the month, AFC played nine games in all competitions and went unbeaten winning eight and drawing just one.

In that sequence they also won two FA Vase games against teams from higher leagues in the shape of Barkingside and Colney Heath.

That has set up a second round proper tie against Tring Athletic on Friday, November 12, at Creasey Park.
