A hat-trick from BJ Christie and a brace from Richard Harker inspired AFC Dunstable to a 5-0 victory at Leverstock Green in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division on Tuesday night.

Christie opened the scoring on five minutes, with Harker doubling their lead six minutes later and adding a second five minutes into the second half.

And Christie went on to complete his hat-trick, netting again on 62 minutes and in injury time to complete an emphatic victory.

AFC won this contest at a canter and could have had even more against a gutsy and young Levestock team.

AFC came roaring out of the blocks and, after going close in the first few minutes, a great over the top ball by Courtney Massey split the home defence as Christie shot across the keeper into the bottom corner.

Harker extended AFC’s lead as he found the bottom corner after a great cross by George Hingley.

Leverstock went close a couple of times when AFC lost possession cheaply, but when they did get through Ryan Darby proved up to the task.

AFC were sharp again in the second half as Harker produced a clinical finish for his second five minutes in.

Harker then missed a sitter for his hat-trick a few minutes later as he headed over from only five yards out.

Christie got his second when he burst into the box and smashed a shot into the bottom corner after 62 minutes and completed his hat-trick with a fine finish in injury time.
