AFC earn FA Cup replay after Northwood draw

AFC Dunstable fought back to draw 1-1 with Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central side Northwood in their FA Cup second round qualifying tie on Saturday.

A heated and physical encounter at Chestnut Avenue saw underdogs AFC come from behind to earn a replay through BJ Christie’s 75th-minute equaliser after James McCluskey had put the hosts ahead on six minutes.

Both teams will meet again at Creasey Park on Wednesday night, with the winners going through to entertain Borehamwood.
