AFC end season with fine win at Holmer Green

AFC Dunstable ended their league campaign with a fine 3-0 victory at Holmer Green to finish eighth in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division on Saturday.

Dale Turney gave the visitors the lead on 24 minutes after neat build up play from Lee Burgoyne, Richard Harker and Craig Butler.

Stefan Tracey then doubled their advantage eight minutes before the break with a simple tap-in after being set up by Turney.

In the second half, AFC pushed even more and in the 70th minute Harker laid on an excellent cross for Hayden Wills to head home from close range.

AFC are now preparing for their Beds Senior Cup final against Biggleswade Town at Luton Town on Wednesday, May 8.
