AFC roar to victory over Lions
AFC Dunstable prepared for their FA Cup game at Berkhamsted tomorrow (Saturday) with a 3-1 home win over London Lions in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division on Wednesday night.
AFC roared at the Lions from the start and raced into a 3-0 lead after only 22 minutes.

Hide AdA great cross from Courtney Massey allowed BJ Christie to score from close range after only six minutes and John Cooper then placed an inch-perfect pass into the path of Chris Francis to steer the ball past the onrushing keeper nine minutes later.
Christie then completed his second brace of the season with a good finish, this time after good work by Dale Turney and Craig Butler.
AFC proceeded to take their foot off the pedal and failed to finish off a demoralised Lions side.
The visitors created more chances in the second half and deservedly pulled a goal back through Harry Hatchwell after 72 minutes.

Hide AdAFC are likely to be missing four key players for their FA Cup extra preliminary round tie at the weekend.
Last year AFC were the last Molten Spartan SML team left standing in the competition, but will need to show far more quality and consistency than they did against Lions in terms of passing, tempo and endeavour if they are to do the same this year.
