AFC suffer Hanwell defeat

AFC Dunstable slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Hanwell Town in their Molten Spartan SML Premier Division clash on Saturday.

Billy Healey’s 10th-minute strike proved decisive a defensive lapse saw him waltz past keeper Sam Leggett and pass the ball into an empty net.

AFC hit the bar twice through Dale Turney and BJ Cristie, who was also denied by a great save from the keeper.

The result saw AFC remain fourth in the table, 10 points behind leaders Dunstable Town with a game in hand.

This Saturday AFC go to St Margaretsbury in the league.
