All the odds as Hatters visit Leyton Orient

Jack Marriot's 11th goal of the season was enough to give Town a third successive win and they now sit six points off the play-offs with 12 games and 36 points still to play for.

Orient are the side who currently occupy that final play-off spot and the Hatters can halve their six point lead with a win at the old Brisbane Road at the weekend.

The O’s are in decent form themselves having picked up seven points from their last nine and this is a massive game for both clubs.

Orient are 21/20 favourites to keep the points in east London with the Hatters 13/5 and the draw the same price and the early money has been for the visitors; the O’s are 9/2 for promotion ahead of the game with Nathan Jones’ side 50s and it’s fair to say those prices will change dramatically by Saturday evening should Town take all three points.

The reverse fixture finished 1-1 at Kenilworth Road back in October and a repeat is 13/2; that scoreline might suit Orient more than the Hatters. Town will have to keep an eye on Jay Simpson who is the division’s top goalscorer with 23 but I fancy Town to maintain their late promotion push and a 2-1 away win is 17/2 at BetVictor and the recommendation.

The Hatters remain 25/1 to end the campaign in the top seven and that is another price that won’t be around if there is an away win at the Matchroom Stadium at the weekend.
