Banton on the spot as Hatters beat Shrimpers

Striker Zane Banton scored for Luton at Southend

Alex Atkinson had put the Hatters in front early on, before Kevan Hurst equalised for the Shrimpers.

However, in the second period, Isaac Galliford restored a youthful Luton side’s lead, while the victory was sealed late on by Zane Banton’s penalty after Luke Trotman was fouled.
