A number of Calor Southern League Premier Division teams had made approaches, with Peacock eventually deciding to join the Waders.

Manager Dan Kennoy was disappointed to see him leave, saying: “I’m obviously disappointed Nat decided to leave as I felt that if he had continued with his games to goal ratio then he would have attracted the attention of League and Conference clubs.”
