Barton stick five past Stevenage
BARTON Rovers enjoyed a handsome 5-1 win over a Stevenage Development side at the League One club’s training ground on Saturday afternoon.
Rovers’ goals came via Nat Peacock (2), Liam McDevitt, Jonny McNamara and Dylan Gittings.
Meanwhile, Rovers sent a trialist and reserve squad to South Midlands League new boys Wolverton Town on Saturday and fought out a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Sam James and Marcus Campbell.
