The teenager, who had been training with Luton Town this season, has already scored 16 league goals this campaign for the Southern League Division One Central outfit.

Chairman Darren Whiley said: “We had an offer from Cambridge for Keshi but turned it down due to the amount of interest we have had for him.

“Norwich were looking at him at the Bedford game and Brian Stein was looking at him at Royston.

“He has a great future in the game if the right club come in for him.”

Meanwhile, Rovers have taken Hatters U18s forward Tuki Tayali on loan as he made his debut in the 1-0 defeat against Royston Town on New Year’s Day.
