After the news was announced, Byrne tweeted: “Over the moon that Lee Bearman has agreed to come on board as joint manager with me this season.

“A guy I respect fully and great experience.”

There has been handful of changes to the Southern League’s line-ups for the new season too following the relegation of Clevedon Town from Division One South & West.

That decision means Ware have transferred from Isthmian League Division One North to Division One Central, with Fleet Town and Petersfield Town joining from Division One South & West.

Meanwhile, Burnham, Flackwell Heath, and Marlow have all left Division One Central and been moved to Division One South & West.
