Blues fight back to earn point at Rovers

Dunstable Town produced a magnificent fight back to draw 2-2 at Paulton Rovers on Saturday.

The hosts, who gave debuts to new signings Anthony Charles, a former Luton Town defender, and Brackley Town attacker Gary Mulligan, fell behind to Nick McCootie’s 15th minute strike.

It was 2-0 on 33 minutes when Michael Bryant netted, but in the second period, the Blues pulled one back thanks to Scott Davies (76).

The comeback was complete late on when Elliot Sandy was felled in the box and Ben Herd netted the penalty with four minutes to go.

Dunstable are at home to Arlesey Town on Tuesday night.
