With 189 fans inside Creasey Park, Blues found themselves behind after 25 minutes when Warren Harris netted with a powerful header.

This stirred Dunstable into more meaningful action, but they failed to equalise before the interval.

After the break, Town produced a number of attacks and the leveller arrived on 65 minutes when Danny Hutchins’ corner wasn’t cleared and Marc Leach fired home.

The game then turned in Dunstable’s favour as Slough keeper Jake Somerville saw his clearance rebound off Lee Roache, before the stopper blocked one of his own players, allowing Roache to score.

Rebels substitute Ryan Lake was shown a straight red card after denying Blues’ replacement BJ Christie a goalscoring opportunity.

It was Christie who added the third too when his glorious long range drive went in off the bar.

Slough gave themselves a fighting chance as Darren Wheeler netted direct from a free kick, but he too was then dismissed for a second yellow as Dunstable held on.
