The Blues host Uxbridge in Division One Central knowing victory will ensure back to back promotions, after they won the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division last term.

The title race involves three other clubs though with Rugby Town, Daventry Town, Kettering all in with a chance of the title.

Daventry’s surprise 4-1 defeat at Egham on Wednesday through the championship race open as they host Chalfont St Peter, while Rugby travel to AFC Hayes and Kettering visit North Greenford.

Blues director of football John McLoughlin was hoping for a bumper attendance at Creasey Park tomorrow as he said: “The players and management would welcome all football supporters to Creasey Park for our last league game of which is probably the biggest game of our history.

“I am delighted to be in this position but it’s simple, a win and the league championship becomes ours.

“What a great achievement this will be with back to back promotions but we need all the support we can get.

“We know that Uxbridge will treat this fixture as a cup final and we must be prepared for a battle and to get the three points required.

“In my opinion we deserve it with all the hard work the players, management and supporters have put into this campaign.

“What a great advert for non league football this is, not only with Luton Town FC gaining promotion to the Football League but Dunstable Town FC hopefully gaining promotion to the Southern League Premier.”
