Dunstable face Ashford replay after late strike
FA Cup first round qualifying
Dunstable Town 2 Ashford Town (Middlesex) 2
Dunstable Town face a replay in the FA Cup after conceding a dramatic equaliser in their first qualifying round clash with Ashford Town on Saturday.
Blues went behind on 13 minutes through Ed Thomas’ speculative shot, before Town levelled thanks to Lee Roache’s close-range effort.
Town looked like they had done enough when Leon Cashman netted in the second half, but Harry Knock’s late equaliser means the two sides will meet again tomorrow night.
Both sides have gone into the hat for the second round qualifying draw that takes place this afternoon.
