Dunstable held by late leveller

Dunstable Town were just seconds away from victory in their Molten Spartan SML Premier Division clash at Tring Athletic on Saturday, conceding a stoppage time equaliser to draw 1-1.

It had looked like Town had done enough, only for Shane Wood’s error resulting in Bradley Wilkinson netting a dramatic leveller.

Dunstable had controlled most of the game and ought to have had more than just Chris Francis’ spectacular overhead kick on 38 minutes to show for their efforts.

Dunstable: Kidd, Pickering, Mead, Bufano, Wood , Cashman, Olaleye, Burnett, Roache, Frater, Francis (Brinkman).

Subs not used: Barnett, Buchanan, Boyce.
